Product Overview
DESCRIPTION
Biosymph Moss & Mold Killer Concentrate
Safe on surfaces. Deep-penetrating. Simple to apply.
Take back your roof and exterior surfaces from moss, lichen, mildew and algae with Biosymph Moss & Mold Killer. A blend of biodegradable surfactants gives deep penetration and enhanced performance, so growth is treated and removed safely.
Simply dilute the concentrate with water, apply with a sprayer and let the product do the work. If left to penetrate and not rinsed off, it keeps working gradually and reactivates with rain, helping to keep your surfaces clean and discourage regrowth.
Ideal for:
- Preparing surface to be recoated or painted
- Roofs affected by moss, lichen and algae
- Other external surfaces with mould, mildew or organic growth
- Heavy infestations (use the stronger dilution for faster results)
- Regular maintenance treatments to prevent regrowth
Whether you are cleaning a roof before restoration or treating a surface that keeps turning green, Biosymph Moss & Mold Killer is an easy-to-use concentrate that is straightforward to apply and to maintain with regular treatments.
Key benefits:
- Safely treats and removes lichen, mildew, algae and moss
- Biodegradable surfactants
- Deep penetration for enhanced performance
- Concentrate – dilutes with water
- Continues to work after application and reactivates with rain
- Drinking water safe after 10 days curing and an initial rinse
Dilute 1 part concentrate to 20 parts water for general cleaning, or 1 part concentrate to 10 parts water for heavy infestations or faster results.
Apply with a pressure sprayer, thoroughly saturating about 10 square metres at a time. Reapply annually, or whenever recontamination occurs, to maintain a clean surface.
Biosymph Moss & Mold Killer is applied to a dry surface by sprayer. Rinsing is optional – rinse with water if required.
FEATURES
- Treats lichen, mildew, algae and moss on external surfaces, including roofs
- Blended with biodegradable surfactants for deep penetration
APPLICATION
- Ensure the surface is dry and free of loose debris.
- Apply in cloudy conditions to limit evaporation, and do not apply if rain is forecast within four to five hours
- Dilute the concentrate with water as directed (1:20 general cleaning, 1:10 heavy infestations) and transfer the solution to a sprayer.
- Apply evenly over the entire surface, ensuring full coverage and saturating about 10 m² at a time.
- Lightly rewet the surface as it begins to dry to improve results
- Leave the product to penetrate – typically a few hours to several days – without rinsing or disturbing the treated area.
- Rinse with water if required, and reapply to heavily contaminated areas.
- Carry out regular maintenance treatments to prevent regrowth, and always follow the safety instructions provided.
Roofs used for drinking water collection: disconnect the water supply before work begins and keep it disconnected until at least five rainfalls or 30 mm of rain have occurred. Allow 10 days’ curing and a thorough fresh water rinse (rain or garden hose pressure) before reconnecting.
