DESCRIPTION
ClimoPlate ™ is a New Zealand manufactured Alkyd / Bitumen co-polymer, solvent / water emulsion based paint developed primarily for New Zealand outdoor conditions. It is specifically but not exclusively formulated to act as a top coat over bitumen based sealers such as our GilsoFlex™ and FlexsoTar™ products. It is ideally suited for painting of exposed metal roofs, cement tile roofs and steel structures. It is compatible and suitable to be used on Decramastic and Butynol roofs and can also be used on other substrates like timber etc.
ClimoPlate ™ Spraying Thinner is intended primarily for thinning ClimoPlate ™ roof paint to a suitable spraying viscosity. The thinner is a blend of Xylene, Hexane, White Spirits and other hydrocarbon solvents. For best results use to a maximum of 8%.
The thinner can also be used for clean-up of spraying equipment etc.

- Packaging: Available in 4 Litre, 1 Litre and 0.5 Liter cans
Use: Suitable for use as a thinner for ClimoPlate ™ Roof Top Coat Paint only. It is not compatible with other paint systems
Thinning Ratio: Maximum 8% (Typically 5% should be adequate)
Other:
– Contains volatile solvent, keep away from heat and open flame.
– Keep out of reach of children.
– Keep closed when not in use, avoid breathing vapor - ensure good air flow when mixing.
